Willow Lake Ranch, home of Tammy McDonald Training, has been family owned since 1970. The ranch is nestled in the rolling foothills of Placer County, located near Newcastle, California. Tammy opened her Training Facility in 1988. The facility sits amongst majestic oak, cottonwood and willow trees and is surrounded by irrigated green pastures. A one acre pond compliments the quiet serenity of the property. The facility features a large covered riding arena (100’ x 175’), a covered round pen, box stalls, stalls with paddocks, turn out pastures, a wash rack, tack rooms, grain rooms, and a hot walker.

The ranch is a full service Training facility offering Training for Pleasure and Show horses, Riding Lessons for all ages, Summer Horse Camps for adults and youth, Stallion Service and Horses for Sale - Tammy McDonald Training specializes in Arabians, Half Arabians & Paint Horses, however, all breeds are accepted.

Willow Lake Ranch provides a serene atmosphere for both the horse and rider.
