Sale Horse Details and Photos

Up for sale is a gentle & very sweet mare named Sally. A real beauty, Sally is a signature Chocolate Rocky with white mane & tail and a star. She has a stocky, old-time Rocky build that keeps her well-balanced. Laid back & extremely mellow & calm on the ground. Sally used to be at a kid's camp where she was loved on every day. Under saddle, she has a very nice, flat slow walk, a wonderful smooth, locked-in gait & if asked, a very nice canter. Sally is at home on the open trails where she will take on all obstacles, including crossing bridges, or going without hesitation through water! She loves to go in the lake! Will lead, be in the middle or follow on the trail. Her only vice is if she leads. She will at times startle in place but NEVER any bolting, bucking or rearing. On the other hand, put her in the middle or end of the pack and you'd think she's gone to sleep she's so calm. All she needs is time in the saddle in lead position to gain her confidence. She has never done anything to jeopardize rider safety. Due only to the lead issue. We think Sally is best suited for the confident advanced beginner level rider on up. No other vices! She stands still for mounting, clips, ties, bathes, trailers, & is great for the farrier. Sally is our lover, not a fighter as she gets along with ALL of our horses in the pasture. No medical or lameness issues. The only reason Sally is priced so low is that she is the only Rocky we've ever purchased whose papers were previously lost, but a Rocky through & through she is! UTD on all shots & worming. Will be sold to an approved home only. Please call us for any questions.
